This full-sized Palestinian Kuffiyeh has “Palestine Free” (in Arabic) and “From the River to the Sea” (in English) hand embroidered on a Black Kuffiyeh. At Juthoor, we make our Kuffiyehs with Palestinian Heritage Tatreez, but for this style, we decided to have fun with a nontraditional approach to our Juthoor Kuffiyeh. This line of Kuffiyehs came after our first design we made back in 2023. We created these beautiful Kuffiyehs to highlight the artistry of Palestinian craftspeople and to raise humanitarian aid and awareness for Palestine and its people. This style of Kuffiyeh is a fun reinterpretation of the spirit of Palestine and the hands that make this beautiful Kuffiyeh. Though the Heritage Thob was the inspiration for the beginning of our journey at Juthoor to put a new spin on the traditional artistry of Palestinian Tatreez, this second line allows us to customize your Kuffiyeh to say or represent whatever you like! Tatreez for Palestinians is about how each stitch, meticulously placed, creates a story that is passed down over the decades. These Kuffiyehs are inspired by the traditional Palestinian White and Black Kuffiyeh and the tradition of Tatreez that has connected us to your ancestors and now connects us all across borders, land, water, and the many miles in between all of our communities of consciousness.
